Warped Reality (online) is now a year old! For my last post of the year , I’m posting a few favorites from 2006. This is by no means a comprehensive list —it’s highly subjective group of songs that caught my ear this year. Conspicuously missing: new stuff from Matt Elliot, the Konki Duet, Kristin Hersh (her new album will be out in 2007), Les Georges Leningrad, Michael Dracula (posted here earlier this year), HNIA, Edison Woods, Psapp and Beirut. Hopefully I’ll get to them in 2007!
